Maybe you could show the darkness of the makeup to show how it is unrealistic. I like the compositions that you have and the depth of field that you use.
Different compositions would complement what you're trying to say. I love the idea and its so big you can do so much and take a lot of photos. The one with the Barbie doll is very strong. Maybe making it a bit darker and giving it some atmosphere it'll give off the sad expectations people have.
Kayla you could try playing with different directions of light, to see what shadows get cast from the makeup..
